Swimming Pool Construction:

The main stages of concrete pool construction:

  1. Engraving and excavation. Based on a plan and section plan, the dimensions and depth of the pool at this stage are determined.
  2. Then the metal mesh is laid.
  3. Next are the hydraulic waits, the piping, the installation of the lights and branches, the perimeter networks (if the pool is overflowing) and hydraulic components which will be covered with concrete.
  4. The formwork (moulds) is installed internally.
  5. Then the concreting of the pool is done.
    The walls and the bottom are being ironed.
  6. After removing the molds, the pool is insulated and sealed with two hands of spreadable insulating material and a brush.
  7. The bottom of the pool is covered with concrete and the shaping of the pool is completed.
  8. In the last stage, the inner lining of the pool is done with a blaster, with pressed cement mortar, by painting with epoxy resin or by installing tiles, pebbles or even mosaics.
  9. In the case of cladding with tiles, pebbles or mosaics, the plastering is done with a 2-component epoxy putty.

All of the above is of high importance because any failure or omission of a technical nature will bring even greater costs for the correction and reconstruction of the pool

What guys swimming pool construction we have;

There are two main types of pool construction and they are conventional and prefabricated pools. But conventional pools also have smaller subcategories based on construction that are worth mentioning. These are the following:

  1. The construction of a conventional concrete pool, where there is no limitation in dimensions or depth meters and materials as long as the required construction permits are in place.
  2. The construction of a pool with a waterfall, where there is a free overflow of water from one side or both sides of the pool and gives a unique aesthetic. Cleaning is also easier.
  3. The construction of a pool with skimmers, where there is no need to build a tank and costs are significantly reduced
  4. The construction of a swimming pool with an overflow, which stands out for its special construction with a perimeter overflow that ensures a water surface at the same level as the surrounding area. Here the water is noticeably cleaner because the water covers the entire lip and overflows on all sides of the pool.

There are also prefabricated pools, where only a small-scale permit is required and with the instructions and direction of a construction engineer, the bureaucratic procedures are easier.
