Construction of a Precast Pool with Skimmers
It is recommended in small size pools because of significantly lower construction costs.
When the pool is built with a skimmer, the construction of a tank or overflow channel is not required, which significantly reduces costs. There is no difference in the mechanical operation of the skimmer pool compared to the overflow pool.
And on two swimming pools we can succeed excellent quality in water purity.
They are more economical than those with overflow.
The reasons are that:
- we do not need to construct a perimeter or lateral overflow channel around the perimeter of the pool
- an additional water space called an overflow tank is not required and is necessary for the operation of the pool with an overflow.
Due to avoiding all these constructions we have 20% up to 30% miscellaneous in our final pool cost list.
The skimmer pool is an ideal construction for relatively small spaces.
There is no difference in the mechanical operation of the skimmer pool compared to the overflow pool. In both pools we can achieve excellent quality in water purity.
Skimmer pools must be built up to 60 sq.m. about.
In the event that the pool is larger than 60 sq.m. we recommend building an overflow pool.
